Halloween Ideas and Confessions
So, you love candy. But you realize it is just as dangerous as going to sleep and finding yourself in a heated boiler room rubbing shoulders with Mr. Freddy Krueger? Me too! Actually, Halloween doesn't have to rot out your teeth or cause weight gain. There are other things you can do to enjoy this spooky time of year. And some of them might surprise you. Read about my Halloween Confession.

To begin this article, how would like to hear of my Halloween confession? I thought so. Ok, here it goes.
I remember one year, I decided to go all-out decorating my house for trick or treaters. I bought a software program to make large poster sized images out of a smaller image. I then took the 'Missing' poster from the movie The Blair Witch and blew it up to the size of my garage door. Yes, it took a lot of paper. And yes it took a long long time to make.
At the time, everyone was still under the impression the movie was actually a real documentary with real footage. But we all know different today, right? Well, I was under the impression it was real too. Thus the reason I made the poster. But that isn't all. Oh no. As I said above, I went all out. Or as we say down South, 'WHOLE HOG'.
During one of my visits back home in Georgia, I loaded the back of my truck with tons and tons of old dead branches from a pine forest. What in the heck was I going to do with them? Read on. The saga continues. I thought it would be cool to make as many Blair Witch hanging stick figures as I possibly could. I wound them with rolls and rolls of twine and hung them from the trees in my front yard. I must say, the idea was a hit in the neighborhood. What made them so great was the fact they moved with the wind. From a distance, it actually look like someone was hanging from my trees - which is weird in itself.
So now that you have my Halloween Confession, I welcome others to share their confessions. I won't laugh, unless you laughed at mine. Oh I almost forgot to mention something. As the Trick Or Treaters poured in from all directions, guess what everyone asked me? They asked me one simple question; "Have they found them yet?" Of course, they were talking about the three missing Montgomery County students. So I wasn't the only one under the impression it was real.
Tell me what you are going to do for Halloween? Are you dressing up yourself, your kids or having a party? I am in need of some ideas myself. I would appreciate anyone's ideas and suggestions.
